The University of Maine at Augusta women’s basketball team would like to announce the commitment of Lindsey Clark for the 2015-16 school year. Clark will be coming from Lebanon High School, in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Moose Basketball Teams Give Back in Windsor

The University of Maine at Augusta men?s and women?s basketball teams helped give back to the community on Tuesday afternoon, scrimmaging with the Windsor Middle School basketball teams in support of both the Windsor athletic programs and for Parker Power, which is a fundraiser to help the family of Parker St. Onge, a third grader battling leukemia.

Moose Basketball Teams Earn Five YSCC Awards

The University of Maine at Augusta men’s and women’s basketball teams were honored with a combined total of five awards from the Yankee Small College Conference. Jamie Plummer, Brandon Rogers, Keith Chesley, and Coach Jennifer Laney all received individual honors, while the men received the YSCC Team Sportsmanship award.

The University of Maine at Augusta women’s basketball team cruised to victory Wednesday evening when they defeated the University of Maine at Machias by a final score of 69-29. Jamie Plummer recorded her eighth consecutive double-double, netting 30 points while collecting 16 rebounds.

The University of Maine at Augusta women’s basketball team fell Thursday evening to divisional foe Central Maine Community College by a final score of 88-70. Carmen Bragg scored 20 points for the Lady Moose while Jamie Plummer added 16 points and 16 rebounds in the loss.

The University of Maine at Augusta women’s basketball team fell Saturday afternoon to Pine Manor College by a final score of 81-69. Carmen Bragg scored 25 points in the loss, tying a school record with seven three-pointers made in the game.
