Monique Moore has jumped right into the action, helping the Lady Moose to a successful season so far. Moore has made a significant impact starting for Coach Laney, rebounding the ball and bringing a strong defensive presence. Look for Moore and the Lady Moose as their season is coming down to the final stretch!

 

Interesting Fact about Monique: I am a huge tomboy. I love to be outside, I love to hunt and fish. But my favorite thing to do is hunt with my dog, I trained her myself.

 

Who is your mentor and why?

My parents are my mentors. They both are very hard working individuals and I look up to them both. They love my both brother and I unconditionally and they show it all the time. They have been together for 25 years and still love each other very much. They push me to be a better person.

 

What class are you most looking forward to?

I am looking forward to my Math class this semester, I'm ready to learn. That's for sure.

 

What do you like about UMA?

I love how close it is to home. It makes it easy to stay in contact with my friends and family.
