Augusta, ME – At the UMA graduation on May 12th Dean of Student’s Sheri Fraser presented senior cross-country and basketball athlete Carmen Bragg with the Kathleen Dexter Distinguished Student Award. This award is given annually to one of UMA’s top all-around graduating students and the criteria for selection includes:

AUGUSTA, ME-- On Thursday, May 10th, 2018, the University of Maine at Augusta Athletic department inducted their inaugural class into the UMA Athletic Hall of Fame.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Both the men’s and women’s UMA cross country team traveled to the USCAA National Championship this year; for the men, it was the first time in program history.
AMHERST, MA – The University of Maine at Augusta traveled to the YSCC Cross Country Conference Championship hosted by Hampshire College over the weekend.
BRUNSWICK, Maine – UMA cross country ran in the Maine State Cross Country Championship this past weekend bringing two full scoring teams for the first time in program history to this event.

RANDOLPH, Vermont – The UMA cross country teams traveled to Vermont Tech over the weekend to compete in the Knights Invitational.
AUGUSTA, ME – UMA Cross Country is excited to announce that the former Yarmouth High School track standout Sam Gerken has committed to run for the Moose in the 2017 season.
AUGUSTA, ME – UMA cross country is excited to announce that former Lisbon High School multisport standout Shauna Rae Riordan has committed to run for the Moose for the 2017 season.
These are student athletes that maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher while competing in the USCAA in their given sport.
