Bio
Cormier is entering his senior year at UMA, and his second and final season running for the Moose. He is a graduate of Messalonskee High School in Oakland and the Mid-Maine Tech Center in Waterville. Running for UMA’s cross country team is Cormier’s first sport since playing for his district’s basketball team in fifth grade, however he was part of his hometown boy scout troop where he earned his eagle scout badge before turning 18. At the Mid-Maine Tech Center Cormier earned the outstanding student award both his junior and senior years, and won a gold medal in the school’s Skills USA competition his senior year. Before attending UMA, Cormier earned his Associates degree in Applied Electronics and Computer Technology from the Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield Maine. At UMA, Cormier is majoring in both computer information systems and cybersecurity.
