Brown notches top 20 finish as cross country concludes season
Richard “Buster” Brown registered a top 20 finish at the Yankee Small College Conference Cross Country Championships on Sunday on the 8K Olympic Biathlon course as the Moose wrapped up the fall season of competition.
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - Richard "Buster" Brown registered a top 20 finish at the Yankee Small College Conference Cross Country Championships on Sunday on the 8K Olympic Biathlon course as the Moose wrapped up the fall season of competition.
Brown completed the challenging course in a time of 33:08, finishing 18th overall. It was Brown's third top-20 finish of the season. Corey Roth of team champions Paul Smith's College won the race with a time of 28:04, with teammate Rob Calamia finishing second.
Seniors Richard Cormier and Anthony Guilmond finished 35th and 36th respectively, with Cormier completing the course in a time of 43:46 and Guilmond, running his first race since an achilles injury knocked him out for most of the season, finished in 46:03.
