(Augusta, ME) In an impressive display, UMaine Augusta Moose claimed a narrow 1-0 victory against the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves, underscoring their robust defensive strategy and effective game plan.
The match's sole goal was scored by Aurelia Maietta at the 33:01 mark of the first half, with an assist from Rhiannon Bousquet. This pivotal goal provided Augusta with the 1-0 win, exemplifying their knack for capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Throughout the contest, the Moose effectively converted their limited chances into a winning edge, while SMCC just couldn't find the back of the net.
