Augusta, ME - The Moose got off to a slow start Wednesday night in their ACC home opener against conference power house CMCC. That slow start was powered by a much improved second half where they were able to pull back to within 8 points before ultimely falling to the Mustangs by a final score of 66-53. The Moose fall to 0-2 (0-1 in the conference) but saw strong play from freshman, Alisyn Alley who poured in a team high 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 steals and Mariah Dunbar who added 13 points (11 of which came in the second half).
As a team they shot 22.6% from the field but were able to connect on 25 of 35 free throws (71.4%). The Moose will look to get on the winning side on things on Friday night as they host the Villa Maria Vikings at the UMA-Bangor Fitness Center
