Coach Cowan’s second year and second season ever at UMA put the program on the State and National maps! The Moose finished the season an amazing 28-11! In the conference tournament(Mustang Invitational) the Moose beat the defending National Champions SMCC in the Finals for the Title. The Moose also received a bid to the USCAA Softball World Series in Dubois Pennsylvania, where they were selected as the 3 Seed! The program also had 3 First Team All American Selections. Coach Cowan continues to impress with the incoming recruiting class and expects the program to compete for a YSCC title next year and looks to improve on the programs first bid in the USCAA College Worls series.

The first season ever at UMA was a resounding success finishing the season as the YSCC Runners Up.  The Moose were able to win in their first day out splitting a doubleheader!  The Moose finished the Program’s first season 7-13.  In the conference tournament the Moose upset CMCC in the semifinals before falling in the YSCC Championship Game.  Coach Cowan is extremely excited with the recruiting class coming in and expects the program to compete for a YSCC title again next year and looks to grab the programs first bid in the USCAA College Worls series.
