10 Student-Athletes graduate from the University of Maine at Augusta

AUGUSTA - The 49th University of Maine at Augusta commencement was held on Saturday, May 14th, celebrating 400 hundred students receiving their respective degrees. In the graduating class, there were 9 student-athletes that received their degrees at the Civic Center before their friends, family, and faculty.

UMA hosted their Senior Night and started the evening by honoring senior Nick Bragg for his commitment to UMA basketball as well as for his achievements in the classroom.

NORTHFIELD, VT -- The UMA Men's Basketball team traveled to Vermont to participate in the Ed Hockenbury Classic hosted by Norwich University. The Moose opened the tournament against the Cadets with a steal followed by a dunk from Dustin Simpson-Bragg.

AUGUSTA, ME—The UMA Men’s basketball team took on 8-1 Southern Maine Community College for the first time this season at the Augusta Civic Center. The Seawolves opened the game with a 6-0 run until Jordan Holmes drained his first 3 of the night leading to a back and forth throughout the first half of play.

CONCORD, NH—The Moose tipped off against YSCC Conference opponent NHTI on Sunday, November 20th for the Championship game of the NHTI Hogan Camps Thanksgiving Tournament. A strong first half showing from Dustin Simpson-Bragg and Jordon Holmes were not enough to fend off the Lynx who outscored the Moose 61-43 in the first half.
