Player Spotlight: Angie Bulgin

- Angie received YSCC player of the week two consecutive weeks in a row for Cross Country (fall 2013)

Angie has entered the Dental Hygiene program on the Bangor campus this year. In the past, she has been a tri-sport athlete for UMA competing in cross-country, soccer, and basketball. This year she will be focusing on her studies and running cross-country. Angie loves to stay in shape and running is a passion of hers. “Angie is extremely self-motivated and has worked really hard in the off-season,” says Head Coach Warren Newton. “ She is eager to compete this season and will improve on her break out season last fall.”
Interesting fact about Angie: Angie was born in Michigan and then moved to New Orleans prior to coming to Maine. Along with going to school full time, and being a tri-sport athlete, Angie works part-time as a waitress at Friendly’s.
Favorite class so far at UMA: Anatomy and Physiology with Professor Margaret Shore.
What she likes most about UMA: “I really like classroom sizes and the opportunities that I have had to continue to be involved with sports here at UMA.”
