Noah Thompson is entering his sophomore season at UMA as a criminal justice major who has intentions of working for the DEA when he graduates. Thompson grew up in Maine before moving to Arizona with his family.
In his freshman year Thompson played 29 games for the Moose and averaged 11.9 points per game. Thompson also broke the school’s record for three pointers made in a single game, and made 88 three point shots last season. This season Thompson will take on the roll of team captain for the Moose.
At Cibola High School, he excelled in football and basketball where he served as captain of both teams. In his senior season, Thompson knocked down 54 shots from beyond the arc in just 26 games.
Thompson is the son of Scott and Debbie Thompson and has twin brothers and a younger sister. His brothers are both collegiate athletes. Abe plays football at Northern Arizona University and Ted runs track and field at Paradise Valley College in Phoenix, AZ.
Thompson is very close with his family and loves spending time with them. He also enjoys listening to music and cooking when he is not playing basketball.
