AUGUSTA, ME— The Moose were back in conference action last night to take on the University of Maine at Machias Clippers. The Moose set the tone in the first half, with co-captain Dustin West lighting up from beyond the arc. West connected for 5 three’s in the first half, contributing 20 points. Jordon Holmes also had the hot hand connecting for 15 points, giving the Moose the lead at halftime; 47-37.
However, it was the Clippers who dominated the second half going on a large run of their own led by Dave Kalmabach who had 21 of his 23 points in the second half. The Moose surged on but unfortunately it was not enough to overcome the offensive power of the Clippers.
West finished 7-10 from three point land; 26 points overall. Jordon Holmes netted 31 points. Simpson-Bragg pitched in 14 points 10 rebounds
The Moose will take on Quinsigamond Community College on Saturday, November 19th at NHTI. Tip off for the game is scheduled for 6:30
