Student-Athlete Spotlight, Adam Bohlen

Hometown: Bucksport Maine

Major: Biology
Favorite class at UMA: Bio 110 and Creative Writing

When did you start running:
I began running at the age of 12 for the Bucksport Middle School Cross Country.

How have you balanced athletics with academics here at UMA:

I go into school early every day so I can get all my work done before and after classes. Doing this makes it so I have the time in the evenings to focus on athletics.

What are you looking forward to next season:
Hopefully improving my running times over last year at Unity, Colby, and Vermont Tech this season.

What is your Spirit animal?
 My dog!

Why did you choose to attend UMA:
I started off attending UMA to get all of the basic classes completed so that I could transfer to another school of my choice. After finishing my first year I really love the UMA community along with the wonderful education I have been receiving and I am excited to be a part of it.
